In this episode, we take a look at McCoy Tyner's recordings with John Coltrane from the 1960s, as well as some choice tracks from the 70s and 80s once the pianist had firmly established himself as a bandleader. Tyner recently died at age 81 and had been the last living member of Coltrane's classic quartet. This set was recorded for WHCL in the home studio from our personal collection of vinyl records.
