Bird Call

We inaugurate a new series this evening: a weekly posting of a different jazz album cover. To kick it off, we'll go back to an artist from our last Kissa session: Vi Redd released Bird Call in 1962 on the United Artists Label. The cover image was made by Frank Gauna, an artist who reinvented himself more than once over as a painter, photographer, and graphic designer.
